Mission

The Delano Adult School is committed to excellence by meeting the needs of diverse learners in safe, secure and nurturing environment while providing opportunities for lifelong learning, critical thinking and problem solving which foster self-worth and dignity.

Revised ESLRs
 
1. Be Life Long Learners
  • Students will demonstrate the ability to use technology, community resources, access information for new settings, and possess technical skills to achieve continuous learning.
2. Be Effective Communicators
  • Students will demonstrate the ability to listen actively and respectfully in order to master effective written and oral skills.
3. Critical Thinkers and Problem Solvers
  • Students will demonstrate the ability to use literary skills in all areas of learning and be able to solve real life problems.
4. Be Productive Workers and Learners
  • Students will work cooperatively, independently, show effective use of time, and make informal choices in order to take initiative when given responsibility.
5.  Demonstrate Personal, Civic, and Global Responsibility
  • Students will promote cultural sensitivity, respect, and good citizenship to be productive members of society.
