Mission

To empower students to become productive citizens by developing the skills necessary to promote self-worth and independence, knowledge, and creativity necessary to adapt to a world of accelerating change within a safe, secure and supportive environment.

A – Academics, Attitude, Aptitude
  • Academics: Students will demonstrate mastery in all subjects with the purpose of meeting graduation requirements.
  • Attitude: Students will demonstrate skills in resolving conflicts through positive, non-violent, alternative actions.
  • Aptitude: Students will demonstrate and use critical thinking skills (application, analysis, and evaluation).

     

C – Community, Commitment, Cooperation
  • Community: Students will contribute to their community through service, an appreciation of diverse cultures, and an awareness of society.
  • Commitment: Students will commit to personal growth towards academics and positive, responsible civic involvement.
  • Cooperation: Students will demonstrate cooperation with fellow students and staff with the purpose of establishing a culture of mutual respect.

     

T – Technology, Trust, Transition
  • Technology: Students will use technology to improve their learning and employability skills.
  • Trust: Students will develop a climate of trust by coming to school ready to learn, being dependable and maintaining a safe learning environment.
  • Transition: Students will be prepared to transition to a comprehensive high school, vocational career, or college.
