New Learning Director Announced
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Lydia Ruelas Duran as the new Learning Director at Delano High School.
Mrs. Duran brings extensive experience in teaching, instructional coaching, and curriculum development, with more than 15 years in education supporting student achievement and teacher growth. She has served as an English teacher and district academic coach working closely with staff across the district to strengthen lesson design, assessment practices, and professional learning.
She is known for her collaborative leadership style, strong instructional expertise, and commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families. Her work has consistently focused on supporting diverse learners, improving classroom instruction, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
As a member of the Delano High School community, Mrs. Duran brings both deep knowledge of the school and a strong commitment to its continued success.
