Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I’m honored to serve as Superintendent of the Delano Joint Union High School District—a community built on tradition, excellence, and a shared commitment to student success.

From its beginnings in 1911 with Delano High School, our district has grown to serve over 4,000 students across five campuses: Delano High School, Cesar E. Chavez High School, Robert F. Kennedy High School, Valley High School, and Delano Adult School. Each site plays a vital role in shaping futures and expanding opportunities for learners of all ages.

Our schools continue to earn recognition for academic achievement and innovation. Whether through Dual Enrollment, Career Technical Education, or other specialized programs, we remain focused on preparing students for life beyond high school—with the skills, confidence, and character to thrive.

We also believe in nurturing the whole student. Our arts, athletics, and leadership programs offer meaningful ways for students to grow, connect, and shine. These opportunities are made possible by the dedication of our educators, staff, families, and community partners.

As we begin this new year, I look forward to working together to create safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environments. Thank you for your continued support and trust. Let’s make this a year of growth, connection, and celebration.
