Eagles tour local colleges

Valley's counselor Mr. Santillano took a group of students to visit Porterville College and College of the Sequoias (COS) in Visalia on Wednesday, October 10.  Students were shown around the local camuses by current students and the group enjoyed lunch at Costco between visits.

Junior Christian Santiago said, "I went on the college trip to see how college will be.  I saw dorms and lots of activities such the military.  It was nice to see the colleges however I plan to move out of the area to possibly attend college or go to work."

Rolando Meza also a junior who had never been to the colleges said, "These were smaller campuses but I know they will help with directions and assistance.  COS is a nice clean bigger campus.  They have a good soccer program and that would make me want to go to that college."
