CCHS Welcomed New Administrators
Hello Titans! I want to welcome you to the 2017-2018 school year at Cesar E. Chavez High School. I am excited to be your new Principal. I want to give a shout out to Mr. DeLeon for doing a great job these past six years. He will truly be missed. I know I have big shoes to fill but I am up for the challenge.
The staff at Chavez has worked hard during the summer to prepare for the upcoming school year. They continue to give of their time and energy so each student feels safe, respectded, and receives a high quality education; whether students will go to college after high school or focus on a trade. I thank the entire Titan staff for their hard work and dedication to educating the young minds of this campus. Students, please take a moment to thank a staff member as well for all the work they put in to help you receive a quality education.
Here at Chavez we pride ourselves on being "a school where Academics, Athletics, and the Arts are Fostered, Recognized, and Celebrated." What does that motto mean? We value academics from state standards to career technical education and we will celebrate the accomplishments of our students. We are strengthening our athletic programs to be the best in the city and county. And finally, the arts here at CCHS are well known throughout the valley. We have world-renowned musicians wanting to work with our students. Wow!
As a principal, I could not have asked for a better situation to step into. The staff and students of Cesar E. Chavez High School are the best and I look forward to a great school year. Go Titans!
~Chris Juarez, Principal
