We are pleased to announce that our school has enrolled with STOPit. STOPit is a technology platform which will help to deter and mitigate bullying, cyber abuse, and other inappropriate behaviors. Our aim with STOPit is to keep our students safe and cultivate a kind and respectful school climate, online and off. STOPit is a tool that works by empowering students to protect themselves and stand up for their peers online. Students will have access to the STOPit mobile app, which has two features: Report and Messenger, Report can be used to anonymously report incidents to school contacts. Messenger can be used to engage in anonymous two-way communication with school contacts.
The STOPit app can be downloaded onto any mobile device through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once the STOPit app has been downloaded, students will be required to enter their unique school code. It is important to enter the correct code that corresponds their school to ensure any anonymous report that is made is delivered to the appropriate school personnel.
