BILLING AND CODING SPECIALIST (Online Training Program)

As a medical Billing and Coding Specialist you will learn to review medical records and translate diagnosis of patients into medical codes including IDC, CPT and HCPCS required by our healthcare system. You will also learn how to work with healthcare professionals to determine care services and manage the claim process. The program 180 hours of online training through live, instructor-led lectures and self-paced training modules. Students will be prepared to take the Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) national certification exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHAnow.com). Textbooks sold separately. (Students will need access to high-speed internet and computer to take this course.)

          Night Course: meets Monday and Wednesday at 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm 

          Day Course: meets Monday and Wednesday at 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
