    Miss Georgina Rodriguez Mendez

    Georgina Rodriguez

    Georgina plans to attend UCLA and major in mathematics to pursue a teaching career. She has taken a very rigorous course load inlcuding many honors, advanced placement, and concurrent enrollment courses. Georgina has received the National Hispanic Scholar award. She has also earned Scholar Ahtlete in grades 9, 11, and Student of the Year during her 5th and 8th grade years. Despite all of Georgina's academic achievements, she has also been involved in many extracurricular activities. During the 2019-20 school year, she served as the Associated Student Body Treasurer. Georgina has been in many other clubs including the Class of 2020, where she served as vice president, in Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA), Spanish Club, the Soccer Club, RFK Historical Society, and as treasure in the Biology Club. She also played soccer during all four years and was chosen by her peers as co-captain and captain. Georgina enjoys doing charity work and volunteering in the community. With her soccer team, she collected items for Toys for Tots and assisted iwth youth during the summer to learn soccer fundamentals. In addition, Georgina served as mentor to students entering the health career pathway.
