Delano High School

Tiger News

Welcome

  • DHS is a school with a rich tradition of academic excellence. Over the past couple of years, we have been recognized as a California Distinguished School, named one of “America’s Best High Schools” by US News and World Report, and a Title I Academic Achievement Award winner. DHS tigers continue to honor this legacy through their efforts in and out of the classroom. You are a very important part of the success of this school, and there are many fun and worthwhile ways for you to make a contribution. There are opportunities to volunteer your time to help in classrooms and with special programs, to cheer on our Tiger athletes at sporting events, to listen to the magical sounds of our choir and band, to support our Mock Trial, and FFA teams at their competitions, and to encourage our students to be “Tiger Strong” as they set goals and prepare for the school year.
