Welcome to the Music Department

For the past several years, the Delano High School Choral program has established a TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE. This tradition includes regular ratings of SUPERIOR, the highest rating possible, at adjudicated festivals sponsored by CSUF, ACDA, MENC and Music in the Parks. Our goal has been to capture the vitality of youth both in music and motion in performances that are a pleasure in sound and spectacle.

The DHS band has participates in mnay community events such as the Veteran’s Day parade, the Harvest Holiday parade, and marches with the other district schools in the Christmas parade. The band has also performed at many school events and has directly contributed to the Delano High School culture of spirit and pride. Fall marching band has become a major force at football games and halftime competitions. The indoor percussion program and color guard continue to be be a highlight of the county, region and state.
