Art Department Mission
Our staff at Delano High School works together to help students expand their way of looking at the world around them. Through participation in the Visual Arts, studetns will apply artistic processes and skills. They use a variety of media to communicate meaning and intent in orginal works of art.

The overall goals of the Art Department at DHS
- Learn about different artists, and art history.
- Develop critical thinking skills through writing, discussion, and hands on practice.
- Be able to critique their own and others work.
- Grow their Tiger Pride by understanding the process of creating something they like.
