COURSE DESCRIPTION
FRENCH II CP
ACCEPTED GRADE LEVEL: 10, 11, 12
PRE-REQUISITE: “C” in French I or permission from teacher.
COURSE SEQUENCE/PATHWAY: Students who have successfully completed French II CP will have met the pre-requisite for French III CP.
COURSE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER: 51
CREDITS: 5 credits per semester
DESCRIPTION: French II CP deals in greater depth with the language and culture of France and the French-speaking world. There is further opportunity to master oral and written language conventions and literature through speaking, reading, and writing. Video programs are used to increase comprehension. Class participation, in the form of regular attendance and completed homework, is increasingly important. Completion of this course meets the minimum foreign language requirement for college.

EXIT REQUIREMENTS: Upon completion of the French II CP course, the learners will:
