ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act)

On December 10, 2015, President Obama signed the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), reauthorizing the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) and replacing the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB), the 2001 reauthorization of ESEA. DJUHSD will continue to update components of ESSA as the state and federal entities transition to ESSA.
