PARENTSQUARE OVERVIEW
We use ParentSquare to communicate between school and home. ParentSquare is a family engagement and communication tool designed to keep families informed and encourage engagment and connection between schools. ParentSquare provides a way for families and students to:
- Send and receive communication via email, text or app notification
- Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once
- Communicate in your preferred language
LOGIN
Desktop
Visit the ParentSquare website to login into your account. To register for your account, insert your email address on file at your child's school. If you don't know your password, select "forgot password" and follow the prompts to re-set it.
Mobile App
The app is FREE and available for download from the App Store® or Google Play®.
HANDOUTS & TRAINING
You can use ParentSquare portal using any device. You can download the free mobile app for iOS or Android or use the desktop version. If your contact information is up-to-date with the school, you will also receive it via email and/or text message. Below are resources on how to use Parent Square and activate your account.

Getting Started Guide
Parents & Guardians Getting Started Guide
1. Open the invitation email or text. Click Activate your account or tap the link to activate your account.
2. Create a Password for your ParentSquare account and click Register.
3. Click Confirm for your phone number and/or email. A verification code will be sent to the email or phone number.
4. Enter the verification code to confirm.
5. Confirm your child(ren) by clicking Confirm. Use Not My Child if a child listed is not associated with your account.
6. Select Yes, This is Me when you have confirmed your contact information and child(ren) associated with your account.- Name misspelled?
- Wrong email or phone number?
- Missing a child on your account?
- Contact your child’s school to get this information updated.
Once you are logged in to ParentSquare, you will be able to access self-paced training modules, video resources and help articles to assist you with using ParentSquare.
7. Click ? (Help) for help or your school contact information.

ParentSquare Tips
- Activate Your Account: Click the link in your activation email/text, or sign up on parentsquare.com or via the ParentSquare app.
- Download App: It’s easy to stay in the loop with the ParentSquare app. Download it now for iOS or Android devices.
- Set Preferences: Click your name in the top right to set your notification and language preferences.
- Appreciate Posts: Click ‘Appreciate’ in your email/app or website to thank a teacher or staff member for a post.
- Comment or Reply: Click ‘Comment’ in app or website to privately ask a question about the post that your teacher or school sent.
- Find People: Click ‘Directory’ in the sidebar to find contact information for school staff.
