We are pleased to announce the launch of the District Closet, a new initiative aimed at supporting students in need of clothing and essential items.
This resource is intended to ensure that all students have what they need to feel confident and comfortable at school. The District Closet will provide a variety of items, including new and gently used clothing, school supplies, and hygiene products. If you encounter a student who may benefit from these resources, please refer them using the following link: The District Closet. Our goal is to make these resources accessible to all students in a respectful and discreet manner.
The closet will be located at the District Office in W-2 and will be available upon request. Iris Guerra, Maria Sandoval, and Susana Salazar will be on hand to assist students and ensure their privacy throughout the process.
If you have questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to reach out. Additionally, if you would like to contribute to this ongoing support effort, we are accepting donations for the District Closet year-round. We greatly appreciate the contributions of new and gently used clothing, school, supplies, and hygiene products. Donations can be dropped off in room W-9, or you can contact Iris Guerra to make arrangements. Every donation, no matter how small, has a significant impact on the lives of our students.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our students’ well-being.
